Organic, minimal sulfur. Born into a winemaking family, Aldo became a professional football player for many years before finally returning to viticulture. When he did, he joined a collective that reclaimed land confiscated from the Corleonesi Mafia - I don’t know what the Italian equivalent for “chutzpah” is, but Aldo’s got it. His wine is much the same - bright acidity, balanced fruit, and textural tannins that glide elegantly across the palate. Worth just savoring an open bottle of, but equally powerful running along some arancini or a muffuletta sandwich.
